In November 2003, Robert Ivker and Salvatore Calabrese (principals of ROSA LLC) purchased the Blue Water Marina. Both Rob and Sal have deep roots in Margate City and are interested in the stewardship of the Marina, as well as the surrounding environment, maintaining the eco-system through sound environmental policies, while providing people with a safe positive family recreational experience.

Rob and Sal will continue to provide a safe, positive and fun recreational experience while maintaining the natural beauty of the surrounding area of the water and land through monitoring and improving the Marina.

General Manager
Since acquiring the Blue Water Marina, Rob and Sal selected Theresa Riley to manage the daily operations and oversee all maintenance and repairs. Each year, Rob and Sal want to thank everyone for making the Blue Water Marina a place where family and friends enjoy a fun and safe boating experience.

Improvements and Renovations
In an effort to ensure a successfully functioning marina, Sal and Rob contacted each boater to personally introduce themselves and discuss any concerns the boaters had.

They believed to achieve their goals of a more enjoyable and safer Marina; every comment was evaluated and implemented, wherever practical. The improvements included security lighting, ladders and braces, entrance door locks, restroom cleanliness, piling caps, general maintenance, trash removal, functioning water and electricity at each slip.

Sal and Rob know that continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are the cornerstones to operating an enjoyable and safe Marina while striving to exceed the expectations of boaters everywhere.

Pump-Out Station
Blue Water Marina is committed to maintaining the ecological symbiosis of the Intercoastal Waterway and for this reason; in 2005 they installed a state-of-the-art EMP Industries SaniSailer Pump-Out System.

We believe that a sound environmental policy contributes to our competitive strength and benefits our customers and employees by contributing to the overall well being and economic health of the Intercoastal Waterway and the Egg Harbor Inlet.
